Abstract
The problem in this study were: 1) whether there are relationships and linkages between the implementation of good governance and the performance improvement of administrative staff in kadia subdistrict of kendari city? 2) whether the application of good governance can improve the performance of administrative staff in kadia subdistrict of kendari city? The purpose of this study are to: 1) identify and analyze the relationship between the implementation of good governance and the performance improvement of administrative staff in kadia subdistrict of kendiri city 2) to identify and analyze the application of principles of good governance for improving the performance of administrative staff in kadia subdistrict of kendiri city. This study is a quantitative approach. Population in this research are the staff at the three villages in kadia subdistrict of kendiri city. The number of civil servants and non-permanent employees at the village office that are used as the samples of this research is counted 55 people from 60 staff in the three subdistricts. In addition to the respondents, informants needed research procedures used in data collection questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this research using descrotive analysis in the form of rating scale. The results of this study indicate that the application of principles of good governance has the relationships and linkages with the performance improvement of administrative staff in kadia subdistrist of kendiri city. Administrative staff performance can be increased to a better result because they are supported by the application of the principles of good governance. In addition, the results showed that better side after the application of principles of good governance is the timeliness in completing tasks and jobs and that task is achieved in accordance with the target. While still working without any errors made by staff of experienced and villages in kadia subdistrict of kendari city. Thus we can conclulde yhat the performance of administrative staff at kadia subdistrict of kendiri city associated with application of the principle of good governance, application of principles of good governance by administrative staff can improve the performance of administrative staff in kadia subdistraict of kendiri city.
