Abstract
A business process consist of process analysis, process mapping, review of profit, holistic review and process definition. Process mapping details a process into several sub-processes which are then broken down further into basic activities by creating flow diagram of such activity. Process mapping is used as an effective tool of analysis for any individual or organization concern in the success of their business, e.g. in decision making. In many cases one may encounter a number of significant variables that need further elaboration and select before a good decision can be made. This paper discusses Axiomatic Design method as an alternative tool to classify and select these important variables from the viewpoint of applied statistics.
