Abstract

The study was a formative evaluation of iprinted materials Science Laboratory Works for Elementary School, for Elementary School Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of Universitas Terbuka ( PGSD-FKIP-UT). In accordance with the policy of quality assurance UT , UT teaching materials will be evaluated and revised in year seven .In this formative evaluation , instructional materials Science Laboratory Works for Elementary School (PDGK4107 consists of 9 modules . Two ( 2 ) modules will were sampled in this study to formative evaluation . The two moduls will be used as input in more detail to the overall revision 9 modules of teaching materials PDGK4107 . Stages in this study began consulting with science education experts and instructional media specialized to review the material substance teaching of PDGK4107 is planned to come from leading university partners of Universitas Terbuka networkings. After that , the evaluation test- user understanding ( students / prospective students ) usingmethods of one to one . One to one meant that researchers confront directly a student or prospective students . Interviews and interviews conducted carefully against the student. These steps implemented in the year one of the study (2014). Furthermore, in the second year study (2015) teaching materials will be tested to the small group , a small group of about 12 students. All entries will be used as baselines 2 sample module in revising the teaching materials for teaching materials writer Science Laboratory Works for Elementary School ( PDGK4107 ) .
