Abstract

Good University Governance requires that colleges have a source of funding coming not from the government. One of the sources of acquisition funds are from the commercial units in college. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta currently has commercial units. Commercial units integration efforts to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah continue to be pursued, but the research that produced the commercial units integration model has not been done at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This study aims to uncover and analyze in depth the commercial units integration practices at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Character study is a qualitative that express the uniqueness of the organization. This study was conducted based on the models that have been produced previously by Henderi and Mustafa (2014) with the following phases: a preliminary study, the identification of needs, literature studies, analysis of the principles and ways of working, and make proposals models. Model of integrated business incubator of entrepreneurship courses for the college proposed to be implemented in synergy with the business processes and daily operations, and support UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta manage its commercial units efficiently and effectively, as well as a quality education. These results indicate that non-optimal implementation of entrepreneurship courses in theory as well as nonoptimal.
