Abstract

One of the learning processes for agricultural extension workers who study at Universitas Terbuka is through online tutorial activities. This paper aims to analyze their participation patterns in online tutorial activities in two parallel classes, especially in accessing the initiation materials, discussions, and assigned tasks. The grades of tutorial online were used to elaborate the findings. Using an exploratory research design, the respondents were 175 students in parallel classes of 01 and 02 on the course of Programa and Evaluation of Agricultural Extension. Data were collected through documentation and observation during 8 weeks of online tutorial activities, and analyzed quantitatively. The findings indicated that generally their participation in the two parallel classes tended to has the same patterns in online tutorial activities, which may be do to their similar conditions in terms of individual characteristics and background. Salah satu proses pembelajaran penyuluh sebagai mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka adalah melalui kegiatan tutorial online. Makalah mi bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola partisipasi mahasiswa penyuluh dalam kegiatan tutorial online di 2 kelas paralel, khususnya dalam mengakses materi inisiasi, diskusi, dan penyelesaian tugas yang diberikan. Nilai Tuton mahasiswa juga digunakan untuk memperkaya pembahasan. Dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian eksplorasi, yang menjadi responden adalah 175 mahasiswa penyuluh peserta tutorial online di kelas paralel 01 dan 02 pada mata kuliah Programa dan Evaluasi Penyuluhan Pertanian. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi dan observasi selama 8 minggu pelaksanaan kegiatan tutorial online, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum pola partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan tutorial online di kedua kelas paralel cenderung sama, yang diduga disebabkan oleh karakteristik individu dan latar belakang kondisi yang sama.
