Abstract

Distance learning university has unique characteristics. One of them is the number of students which is usually larger than the conventional one. In order to serve its students better, both academic and administrative of the distance learning university, it usually applies an equally applied approach in designing students' learning activities. This approach limits the creativity of distance students to construct their knowledge because it is associated with behavioral learning theory. The purpose of this paper is to elaborate the possibility to apply constructivism the01y in printed learning material to be used in distance learning .system that will be able to enhance students knowledge.
