Abstract
Based on the results of research in the field, the reasearchers found the way the perpetrators worked in ensnaring the women to become victims of human trafficking, namely by offering high-paying jobs and trapping through interest-bearing loans. Meanwhile, the background factors that caused the infromants to become victims of human trafficking and later prostitution became prostitutes in several regions in Indramayu and Karawang, among others; First, the factor of econimic poverty; Second, factorsin the difficulty of access to employment; and third, education factors. The social networks formed in the case of human trafficking in prostituted women is in the form of partial socia lnetworks and social networks of interest. On partial social networks, from the findings of the informants become victims of human trafficking because they when making social contacts with people who invite them to work because they are related to the econimic and social fields. Whereas on the social networks of interests, from the field findings, the informants became victims of human trafficking because when they made social contact with people who invite them to work, it was nothing but because it was related to work interests.
