Abstract

Vocational Program Diploma IV Archive – Open University Indonesia, is an undergraduate equivalent vocational program. With 70% practice course composition and 30% archival theory is expected graduates of this vocational programs can work professionally. But the concept of University distance education so positioned vocational programs that more students practice difficulties to archive learning achievement, especially mastering the work practices that become peculiarities of this Diploma program. The research entitled “Professionalism Graduates of Vocational Programs with Student Involvement in Nationally Scaled Government Program” is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. The purpose of this research is to identify the concept of practice undertaken by students Dilpoma IV Archives program so that the students have the ability to practice evenly wherever the students live. This is because the distribution of vocational student Diploma IV Archive Open University is in 40 UPBJJ-UT/regional office Open University, offices throughout Indonesia. Primary data is data from interviews with parties involved in the implementation process of practice, the local government or province, the central institution in this case is the Indonesian National Archive (ANRI). Secondary data in the form of documents related to research purposes. The results of data analysis obtained show the role of students of Dilpoma IV vocational program Archive in the entry material archive processed from the archive area included in the national archive network system is very influential on the ability of students master the material or concept of archival science and theory maximum. In addition to practical experience on the involvement of students in the national work of the national archive network system, students feel proud or confident with the results of practice. Because the national archive network can be accessed by all people in Indonesia easily and quickly.
