Abstract

Terbuka University by design is to establish the independence of students in learning, considering UT implement distance learning systems (SBJJ) means of communication lecturer whit students fase to fase not directly but rather facilitated a media IE print media in the form of modules and not print media in the form of audio/video, TV programs and other computer-based products and the internet. The principle of distance learning is a student must be able to discipline themselves to learn. In between the time of learning, students should also be able to develop themselves in a potential to meet the future. UT Jayapura, in cooperation with the institutions of the community empowerment Amungme and Kamoro (LPMAK) contucts training activities for student entrepreneurship program Targets Mission in Mimika regency of Papua. Real results from the training proved to be some of the participants had a private business in the form of a laundry servis motor, compiler and distributor pinang, making screen printing, and some students are active in the field of journalism. This paper aims to inform the shape the success of entrepreneurial training carried out UT by LPMAK Freeport Papua.
