Abstract

Rob flood is a phenomenon where the sea water is over nowing into the mainland. The phenomenon often occurs in Indonesia. Usually occurs in coastal cities such as Pekalongan. Rob flood disrupts the activities of the community and causes the economy, health and social in the region to be disturbed. This research tries to prove the influence of social capital (social bonding, social bridging. social linking) to disaster resi lience in communities affected by rob in Bandengan Village, Pekalongan City. This research uses explanative quantitative method of regression test, that is research used to test and explain the influence between hypothesized variables. The conclusion of this re search is 1) Social capital bonding statistically has a positive and significant influence on disas ter re silience. 2) Social capital bridging statistically has no influence and sign ificant to disaster resilience. 3) The social capital linking has no statistically significan t effect on disaster resilience. This study offers Pekalongan City Government. both from the level of related offices, sub-districts to village need to think of an effective empowerment system that is eq uitable and comprehensive for disaster resilience. balanced and better. In addition, the head of the family in Bandengan Village need to increase the resilience of the disaster by utilizing and applying information knowledge and facilities from the government.
