Abstract
Many times we experienced the curriculum changes. Conceptually, each new curriculum prmised the positive change ini improving the quality of the learning process and result. In the implementation, the new curriculum impact is often as unexpected with the cost of it. Several factors influence the success of curruriculum implementation. There are maney, program, and people, but the most important one is people, either who design and socialize the new curriculum or who make it happened in the classroom level (Ornstein & Hunkins, 1993). Implementing a new curriculum does not relate only to the document change. It also connects to the document change. It also connects to the changes of the knowledge, paradigm, habit, attitude, and skills. How the curriculum are realized in the actual context, it will be influenced by the teacher paradigm. The paradigm is a teacher’s view to the curriculum itself determined by his/her education philosophy and gool, and the combination of his assumption about the nature of student, learning, instruction, and discipline that the tought.
