Abstract

This study is intended to investigate the correlation between learning independence, and learning achievement on the teaching skills both individually or in groups. For this purpose, a survey was carried out in the Teaching Certificate Program for Primary School (.';;1 PGSD) of Education F'aculty in Jakarta. It involved 31! participants who were taking part in Teaching Skills Consolidation Subject of the selected program as respondents. They were selected through random sampling. A set of questionnaires and learning achievement tests were used to elicit data from these research parricipants. The students' learning achievement was evaluated using APKG-1 (16 items) and APKG-2 (66 items) which were validated by a group o( panels consisting of teaching experts and practitioners.
