Abstract

The implementation of distance education has been regulated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia and following Law No. 12 of 2012 states that distance education is a teaching and learning process carried out remotely through various communication media. This study aims to determine what form of final examination program is suitable for each study program at the faculty of economics based on the uniqueness of the graduate profile. Method The approach is carried out by quantitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis. The research results of students in the UT Faculty of Economics are very diverse, ranging from students aged 17-21 years to more than 53 years old. The number of students on the faculty at FE decreased as the age range increased. Most students are aged 17-25 years and 22-26 years, namely 39% and 37%, respectively. On the other hand, students with an age range of 32 years and over are only about 12% of the total UT FE students. In general, the strategic environmental conditions of TAPS are very conducive. UT pays attention to aspects of human resource development through training activities or courses outside the workplace related to writing scientific papers for TAPS. In addition, UT students who study at the Faculty of Economics, Open University are dominated by students under the age of 41, 97% or as many as 112,419 students. In comparison, the rest of UT students over 47 years old are 3%, as many as 4,507.
