Abstract

In accordance with (Public Information Disclosure Act)/UU - KIP No. 14 -2008 public information disclosure explains that it is the right of every citizen to obtain the required information. The positive effect of the UU-KIP is that all public agencies are obliged to provide every information needed by the community. With accurate information and according to the needs of the community, the information is able to prosper the community. Purpose of the research is to describe various information needed by the community and which can improve the welfare of the community. Methodology used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection was obtained from interviews with people who need information, and tracking of several public agencies that provide access to information for the public, transparent and accurate. Secondary data in the form of other documents that support the objectives of the study. After the data has been collected the data is codified, compiled and then given a narration. Conclusions, the results of data collection and data processing show that transparent, accurate information needed by the public and provided by public agencies has a positive impact on aspects of people's lives. Because the public can get the information needed from the authorities and can be obtained in a short time. From the results of obtaining this information the public can carry out various activities that can support its activities to improve welfare.
