Abstract
Distance education system make educational more accessible for students from remote area. FKIP has study program D2 PGSD, a diploma program for elementary teacher, which has a course named Pendidikan Masyarakat; and S1 PGSD a bachelor degree program for elementary teacher too, which has a course named Pembelajaran Berwawasan Kemasyarakatan. Both courses have the same task for the students that is to make some illiterate person become literate through PBA program. The discussion in this paper is focused on how PGSD students done their task besides they participate in achieving MDGs especially goal 2 and 7.
