Abstract
Development of professional teachers will improve the dignity of the teacher and his role as an educator to improve the quality of national education. There is a significant relationship between teacher quality and graduate quality, as the quality of teachers increases, the quality of learning will be the improved, which leads to the higher quality of graduates. This study aimed to improve the quality of teacher professionalism by providing scientific writing training for in-service teachers. The instruments used in the study were validated by experts. The results of the instrument were analyzed by SPSS 22. The results show that the teachers were eager to carry out these activities and gain additional insight and skills in making scientific articles. This study was expected to improve the skills teachers, and the program can also be considered as a breakthrough for lecturers in implementing their knowledge.
