Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the main requirement for the success of an organization, including in higher education. Satisfaction of students and teachers or tutors become a benchmark for universities to be able to improve their performance in order to deliver competitive graduates, including for universities that implements distance education system. Universitas Terbuka (UT) is a higher education institution that implements distance education system, which provides a variety of learning support for students in facilitating them to learn independently. One of the study program in UT is accounting study program and to improve the student's skills in accounting our study program provide a learning support such as face to face practicum (FFP). This study aims to analyze the satisfaction and importance of face-to-face practicum (FFP) implementation in UT. The results showed that the most important factor to improve FFP implementation in order to achieve student and tutor's satisfaction is a fast, prompt, an friendly response in handling every student's and tutor's complaints.
