Abstract
The Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) is a group of poor families, so there is a need for efforts to empower their economies in utilizing their potential, namely making candied tomatoes and eggplants. The aim of the community empowerment program are as follows: (1) providing knowledge and skills in processing dried candied tomatoes and eggplants, and (2) providing knowledge about entrepreneurship and marketing management. The method of implementations are carrying out lectures, demonstrations, and practices. As a result, participants have succeeded in making candied dried tomato flavored dates (torakur) and candied dried eggplant. The trainees have also started marketing these products to local residents, friends, relatives and entrants in stalls and shops so that they can increase their income and welfare.
